About JCB Creations
Using our great grandmother’s butter-almond shortbread recipe, my sister and I started a cookie business known as SugarMAMAS in 2002 when our kids were barely toddlers. After Hurricane Katrina, our lives took different turns and I went off on my own and became JCB Creations in 2006.
Working out of my home garage workshop, I was able to regain many of my displaced customers as everyone trickled home over several years. In 2011 I opened a storefront for JCB Creations on Oak St along with a juice bar and grew to service over 4,000 customers! To better service my customers, I moved the storefront to Magazine St and had 3 great years there.
In December 2019 I decided the garage workshop was better suited for me, and gave up the storefront. Seems like timing was on my side as the pandemic hit a few months later.
The last years have been the busiest they have ever been for JCB Creations, and I am grateful for all the customers who have supported me and helped me grow to where I am today.
I am lucky to have a fiercely loyal customer base here in New Orleans, and I have many huge fans all over the country. I am constantly shipping cookies for events from New York to California, and everywhere in between, and for that I am humbled.
